Super Bowl Morning. Test Batch to see what sweethopping in primary & then dry hopping in secondary. Also this is the first time I went from primary to secondary straight to the keg.

  • 8.50 lbs 2-Row Brewers Malt;Briess

    2-Row Brewers Malt;Briess

    Mild malty flavor. Characteristics & Applications: • Base malt for all beer styles • Smoother, less grainy flavor than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slightly higher yield than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Slight lower protein than 6-Row Brewers Malt. • Produced from AMBA/BMBRI recommended 2-Row Malting Barley varieties.

  • .25 lbs Crystal Malt 20°L

    Crystal Malt 20°L

    Sweet, mild caramel flavor and a golden color. Use in light lagers and light ales.

  • .40 lbs Acidulated Malt

    Acidulated Malt

    High lactic acid. For lambics, sour mash beers, Irish stout, pilsners and wheats.

  • 1.50 lbs Belgian Aromatic

    Belgian Aromatic

    Imparts a big malt aroma. Use in brown ales, Belgian dubbels and tripels.

  • 1.00 lbs German Light Munich

    German Light Munich

    For a desired malty, nutty flavor. Lagers, Oktoberfests and bock beer.

  • .7 lbs Candi Sugar Clear

    Candi Sugar Clear

    Smooth taste, good head retention, sweet aroma and high gravity without being apparent. Use in Belgian and holiday ales. Use clear for tripels, amber for dubbels, and dark is used in brown beer and strong golden ales.

  • .5 oz Amarillo® -10.3 AA% whole; boiled 33 min

    Grown in Washington. A newer multi-use hop with a nice citrus-flower bouquet and medium-high acid content suited for bittering. Used in American Ales and IPAs.

    Citra®

    Citra™ is a special aroma hop variety developed by the Hop Breeding Company (a joint venture between John I. Haas, Inc. and Select Botanicals Group, LLC). It was released in 2007. Citra™ has fairly high alpha acids and total oil contents with a low percentage of cohumulone content. The variety imparts interesting citrus and tropical fruit characters to beer.

  • 1 oz Cascade -7.7 AA% whole; added dry to primary fermenter

Notes

Brewed on 2/7/2016 O.G & F.G Mash Eff & Attenuation are all accurate. Primary 3 Weeks Removed Yeast cake 2/29 & cold crashed for 2 days. Racked to secondary (Keged) on 3/2/2016. Force carbonating. Dry hopped on 3/4/2016 with 2 oz of German Mandarina Bavaria @ 7.6% Alpha for 5 days. Everyone loved it so much that we finished the keg on 3/19/2016 :(
