  • 13 lbs Belgian Pils

    Belgian Pils

    Pilsner style malted barley grain.

  • 1 lbs Belgian Special B

    Belgian Special B

  • 1 lbs Barley Flaked

    Barley Flaked

    Helps head retention, imparts creamy smoothness. For porters and stouts.

  • 2 lbs Light Brown Sugar

    Light Brown Sugar

    Imparts rich, sweet flavor. Use in Scottish ales, old ales and holiday beers.

  • 1 oz Cluster -7.2 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Cluster

    Used for bittering and flavor qualities in light and dark American lagers. Aroma is very floral.

  • 6oz Oak Wood Chips -soak in GSM red wine (omitted from calculations)

Adding oak chips (which is done in the fermenter, not the mash tun) can add some interesting flavors to your homebrew as well as acting as a surface area to accelerate aging. dried out, nice raisin flavor, brown sugar, sweet cherries, oak is balanced.
