  • 3.4 oz Cascade -5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min

    Cascade

Spicy with citrus notes. Slightly grapefruity.

  • 0.50 oz Pacifica™ -5.5 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min

    Pacifica™

The Pacifica brings something of a blend of new and old-world taste descriptors to the brewers' forum. Orange marmalade aptly describes the citrus aroma notes achieved through late addition. Bittering quality is such that early kettle additions net a soft yet solid finish even in highly bittered beers.—NZ Hops Limited

  • 0.50 oz Apollo -17.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min

    Apollo

This super high alpha variety was developed by the Hopsteiner Breeding Program and released in 2006. It is resistant to powdery and downy mildew. The very high alpha, good storage stability and low cohumulone ratio makes it an excellent choice for bittering. Added late into the boil it provides a strong grapefruit and hoppy note.—usahops.org
