A hybrid of ale and lager characteristics. This strain develops excellent maltiness with subdued fruitiness, and a crisp finish. Ferments well at moderate temperatures.
Notes
Steep grains for 20 minutes at 140 degrees. Steep grains at 154 degrees for a additional 60 minutes. Sparge with one gallon of water at 170 degrees. Add DME at 30 minutes. Added LME at 15 minutes. Pitched yeast at 62 degrees. Fermented at 60 degrees for a week and 55 degrees for two weeks. Placed into secondary at 38 degrees. OG 1.049. FG 1.013. ABV 4.7%.
