Schedule Help
I am having a rough time getting the schedule application to work for me.
Sometimes the data entered goes right back to '0' after entering a number.
I am confused what some of the data slots are asking for.
If someone can explain a step by step fly sparge schedule I would be very grateful.
I have already calibrated my equipment.
Cheers

fly sparge schedule
Create a New Mash In step. Then, in the edit window:
-Select your calibrated Mash Vessel, Heating Vessel and Heat Source.
-Set your Mash Thickness and Target Temp (maybe 1.5 qt/# and 150°F).
-Hit Okay.
Create a New Rest step. Then, in the edit window:
-Set the Duration (probably 60').
-Hit Okay.
Create a New Fly Sparge step. Then, in the edit window:
-Set your Sparge Temp (probably 168°F).
-Set your Duration (something like 40').
-Select the Lock box, which should set your volumes based on your grain bill and final volume.
-You may need to set your Available to "0" to get your Sparge Volume calculated, or you may need to set it to some larger number if you don't run your sparge dry.
Disclaimer: I'm not a fly sparger, so I did that the way I would set up a batch sparge, but i think I got that right. Someone that actually fly sparges may have some corrections to make.
