Just update to the lastest version and for some reason the Lock/Scale pulldown menu doesn't show up now.
Using Windows 7
Thanks any help

scaling recipes confusing
if it's moved to the dropdown menu then I shouldn't be able to type in the final volume box... unless i'm starting a new recipe... so when I scale i shouldn't type anything in that box? I want that number to change the grain quantities.
also, I've started to notice a negative value in the water volume added when I download a recipe from beertools.com

+1 for meturkeyjerky214 wrote:I agree. That's find if you add it somewhere else, but I liked it next to the final volume. Why even have the check box there anymore?jawbox wrote:yeah that's something I really don't like. It was more user friendly in the old location
It seems obvious now but it took me a while to work out the scale function had moved. Initially I thought it was a bug. Maybe there was a good reason for moving it but feels like a pointless change to me. The check box seems redundant now and only adds to the confusion. Why have it? Sorry for the negative tone but I feel the need to add to the chorus on this one.
Much better where it all was.
Re: Lock/Scale pulldown menu
New buttons are added to the interface to provide this functionality as of version 1.5.24
