Judging beer

Post by flavaham »

I'm wondering what kind of class is needed to be a judge in beer contests? I'd like to do it for a number of reasons. I'm out here in Denver, CO., so if anyone knows of any contests OR classes for this, please let me know.
thanks,
g

I took the BJCP exam with about 15 other people last weekend; indeed there is an extraordinary amount of preparation that goes in to it. It was the fastest three hours I've had in a long time.
