Sounds like you are talking about Kuhnenns (sp?) in Warren. I was there on New Years Eve. Had the Belgian...was one of the best beers I've ever had.

Dislike:
Smoking
Kids
Waiters/Waitresses that don't know squat about beer
High price for average beer
Not enough info about the beer, like SG, ingredients, etc...
No stout on the menu
Mediocre food
12oz glasses
Hidden brew equipment
Long wait for service

As for my "likes", just take the opposite of the above list :)

Being asked by staff if I want another stout & it brought to table when glass empty rather than going to the bar to ask for another. Took a girl from England and she said she couldn't believe she was in a pub - the great service as there is no way you would get it in the UK.

Top quality food - not junk food

***A quality sound system is essential***

If they employ good bands - then my friends & I will always stay around

Free taxi service put on by my local - both to pick you up & take you home

Main Dislikes:

Music too loud
Smoke
Uncoordinated band members attempting to play together
Overpriced food & beer
Useless sound systems
Beer at the wrong temp - especially too cold and often too fizzy also
