Here's the deal.....I've got 4 kegs full of brew, but right now I'mm only able to force carbonate one at a time. After filling each keg, I flushed the headspace with CO2 and then pressurized each one to 25 psi to seat the lid until I can force carbonate it.
Here's the question. How do you determine how much of the gas will be absorbed into the beer from this one-time charge? And consequently, is there a method of giving a keg of few individual higher pressure charges and then let it sit to saturate? I usually do the "set and forget" method of constant pressure and constant temp.

Is the beer refridgerated?
If you are refridgerating your beer and giving them a high charge of CO2 and shaking them, constant pressure is not required. The beer has to be cold, and you need to shake the snot out of it to help carbonate. A Carbonation stone at the bottom of the keg may help also.
