I made my first homebrew Sunday and went a little overboard with the gypsum. The recipe was a partial mash and everything was bagged and measured in the amounts that I needed for the recipe.
This was very convenient, however the gypsum and irish moss included were above what the recipe called for.
While I added only 1 tsp of Irish moss as called... I added about 2oz of gypsum (the whole bag) instead of the 1tsp.
Everything shows signs of a good fermentation... I am just wondering is my brew doomed?
Thanks
Gypsum mistake?
