Appreciate it Ray. I wrote to Wes. How's everything going down under? You been brewing much?

Weyermann malts

Post by just-cj »

Grain, need Origin:
Caramel Wheat Malt
Chocolate Rye Malt
Chocolate Wheat Malt

Those are all German malts, probably available from several maltsters. I have used Weyermann Caramel Wheat and Chocolate Wheat, and have seen Chocolate Rye on their website. There's a chart at Crosby-Baker:
http://www.crosby-baker.com/WeyerSpecs.htm
And also at Weyermann's site:
http://www.weyermann.de/englisch/produk ... e=Products

There's a comparison chart here that might give you some good info:
http://www.northcountrymalt.com/comparison.html

Hope that helps.
