Serious Beer Emergency! HELP, Guys!

What went wrong? Was this supposed to happen? Should I throw it out? What do I do now?

The five P's

Post by brewmeisterintng »

Charlie,
A good homebrewer knows that it takes time to make beer. One must plan and pace oneself or you will be forced to go to the supermarket and buy dare I say "Commercial Beer". It has happened to me a time or two but I always buy Sam Adams or the sort with bottles I can reuse. That's the excuse I tell my wife anyway.
Oh the five P's
Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. (It's and Army thing)

Now get out there and brew

In addition to the five P motto

May I suggest another rule. The MBMB rule, as in Must Brew More Beer.
In order to brew more, you may need more equipment, (Also known as the MBME or Must Buy More Equipment rule) such as more carboys and primary fermenters, as well as ingredients of course. Which leads to another rule...the MBMI rule...as in: Must Buy More Ingredients rule, which will save trips to the beer store (STTTBS rule)
All of which can be remembered in a simple way as the motto

MBMBMBMEMBMISTTTBS

Now you'll never run out of beer again.
Good beer doesn't come in a can.
Unless it's a keg.
