Honey Brown Ale

Post by FrankieBoy007 »

I am ready to attempt a honey brown ale, and was wondering: At what point do I add the honey? Here is the recipe:

1 lbs German Light Munich Malt
.5 lbs Belgian Chocolate Malt
.25 lbs Belgian Caramunich
.5 lbs Honey Malt
4 lbs Muntons Dry Extra Light Extract
2 lbs honey
1.5 oz Hallertau Hersbruck (60 min)
1 oz Fuggles (15 min)
.5 oz Hallertau Hersbruck (2min)

Thanks for any help!

To retain some of the delicate honey aromatics, put it in the last 2 or 3 minutes of the boil.
