Activity in the air lock for the first 24 hours only
I am new to home brewing. I'm on my second batch of beer. The first one is in bottles already and the second batch is in the fermentation stage. There was activity in the air lock the first 24 hours then not much after that point. Should I be concerned that it only lasted 24 hours. Both batches were from kits from True Brew. One was an IPA the other a Pale Ale. I'm just looking for an opinion. Thanks

Fermenting Temp
It's been anywhere from 71- 74. I'm at work so I can't tell you the exact yeast that was included in the kit. I can post that info later on tonight Thanks

Fermentation
The only sure fire way to tell that the beer is done is by taking ha hydrometer reading for a few consecutive days. No change means it
