Fermentation Info Section on Main Display

Post by tgioiosa »

Hi,

Dont' recall if this has been asked, but could you add a Fermentation section to the Main Recipe Display listbox pulldown that would contain the fermentation details for a recipe?

This could hold the following info, and would be helpful (especially for lagers). It should also appear in the Recipe print-out.

Fermentation Schedule -

total # of stages (1,2,3, etc)

Primary #days Temperature
Secondaryary #days Temperature
Tertiary #days Temperature

and also any dry-hopping schedule and amounts in any step

Thanks,
Tony :)

A lot of people seem interested in having this feature, and there was a lot of discussion about it a while back. I suppose we'll see it someday. Personally, I don't see it as that big a deal. I use the notes tab to record fermentation data as well all kinds of other info.

Good idea on using the notes area, I'll try that. Hopefully the notes section appears on the print out for a recipe!
