Award Winning Recipes Designed on BeerTools.com!

Post by lathe »

GOLD member Ray Mills of NSW Australia cleaned house at the Queensland State titles with 2 firsts a second and 2 thirds in 5 catagories. Also the best beer of the competion. This recipe has been sent to the Micro brewer in Townsville and they are going to make the beer for sale. The winning beers will automatically go into the National Competition held late October so we will keep you posted.

Wit

Post by Freon12 »

Does that mean I should enter the wit that was a result of beertools and comments from our members?
It did turn out well, and fits the style guidelines.

There was only one gold given this year(as opposed to none last year)and i guess that must have been your pilsner that got awarded it. Myself?, im afraid i flunked, and came nowhere, but ill be back next year better than ever and fully intend to take that trophy from you. SO WATCH OUT!!!!
A fine achievement Ray, congratulations.

Good stuff

Nothing went wrong, it's very good. I thought entering something that the forum had a hand in would be very cool.

I will learn to read soon

LOL...I totally mis-read your post. I thought you said it didn't go well. My mistake. We are getting good feedback from users that enter their recipes. Your Wit recipe looks like a winner! You never know.

I do hope you win next year and you can have all the 100 liters. That way I don't have to have a BBQ with friends who will drink it all.
Keep up your brewing
Cheers
Ray
