I plan to do that as well. I am using a friends equipment and he has a problem with geting a high mash effeincy out of loarge volumes of grain. I am shooting for a about 9% abv, but witht he current recipe i get about 7, i know i could add sugar or honey and hit my target, but i want a full bodies b...

its supposed to be a rye barelywine. I am using the rice hulls as well.

I am making my first all grain recipe and this is what i plan to make. Thoughts? 10 lbs. American 2-row 5 lbs. Rye Malt 0.5 lbs. American Caramel 90°L 1 oz. Magnum (Pellets, 14.5 %AA) boiled 60 min. 0.50 oz. Cascade (Pellets, 5.5 %AA) boiled 15 min. 0.50 oz. Cascade (Pellets, 5.50 %AA) boiled 1 min....
