Wow! Thank you for all of the great information. I am new (relatively) to homebrewing and had no idea there were so many variables regarding kegs. I think I will go with a kegerator loaded with corny kegs. Cheers.

Which keg: corny or barrel?
I am looking into stepping up to kegging. I do not have a spare fridge and was looking into "kegerator" type systems. However, kegerators are built to hold barrel style kegs while all homebrew sites sell and/or discuss corny kegs. Is there there something particularly difficult or expensiv...

Thank you all for your input and advice. When I got home from work today, the 3 piece airlock was bouncing along nicely. Still, I will definitely learn from this experience and will let the yeast warm up before pitching. Duh. Anyway, thanks again. Cheers.

Newbie needs help w/ fermentation
I used Whitelabs liquid yeast for the first time yesterday. Failing to properly read/follow the directions, I did not let it sit at room temp for 2-3 hours before pitching. 18 hours later, no fermentation. Is there any saving this batch? Please help. Thank you.
